How is a peristaltic dosing pump different from a diaphragm pump?
A peristaltic pump has no valves, diaphragms or seals — the fluid sits inside the tube and rollers squeeze it forward. That means no check-valve clogging, no loss of prime, and the only wear part is the tube.
What does the 6 bar rating mean for my installation?
It means the pump can discharge against up to 6 bar of system pressure. If your injection point is under lower pressure, you get even longer tube life and smoother operation.
Can it work with a pH controller?
